The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that CORRECT--K. B[lstrok]aszczyk i Wsp[oacute]lnicy Sp. K. (CORRECT) did not make a bona fide sale of mattresses from Poland during the period of review (POR) of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Therefore, Commerce preliminarily intends to rescind this administrative review.

Mattresses From Poland: Rescission of Circumvention Inquiry on the Antidumping Duty Order ↗
Based on a withdrawal of the circumvention inquiry request, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) is rescinding this circumvention inquiry that was initiated to determine whether mattress components (i.e., foam, innersprings, and mattress covers) exported from Poland and further processed and completed in the United States to produce mattresses are circumventing the antidumping duty (AD) order on mattresses from Poland.

In response to requests from Brooklyn Bedding LLC; Carpenter Company; Future Foam, Inc.; FXI, Inc.; Kolcraft Enterprises Inc.; Leggett & Platt, Incorporated; Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC; Tempur Sealy International, Inc.; the International Brotherhood of Teamsters; and United Steel, Paper, and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union, AFL-CIO (collectively, the requesters), the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) is initiating a country-wide circumvention inquiry to determine whether components of mattresses from Poland, which are assembled or completed in the United States into mattresses, are circumventing the antidumping duty (AD) order on mattresses from Poland.

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) published notice in the Federal Register of July 11, 2024, containing the antidumping duty (AD) orders on mattresses from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Burma, Italy, the Philippines, Poland, Slovenia, and Taiwan. This notice incorrectly listed the name of an exporter/producer subject to the AD order on mattresses from Italy as Gruppo Buoninfante Industriale S.P.A. in the section entitled "Estimated Dumping Margins."
