    The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that imports of compacted graphite iron (CGI) brake drums, from the People's Republic of China (China), constitute later-developed merchandise that is circumventing the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain brake drums (brake drums) from China. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.

    In response to a request from Webb Wheel Products, Inc. (Webb), the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) is initiating a country-wide circumvention inquiry to determine whether imports of compacted graphite iron (CGI) brake drums from the People's Republic of China (China) are circumventing the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain brake drums (brake drums) from China.

    Certain Brake Drums From People's Republic of China: Final Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value; Correction ↗

    The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) published notice in the Federal Register of June 18, 2025, in which Commerce published the final determination of sales at less than fair value (LTFV) investigation of certain brake drums from the People's Republic of China (China). This notice corrects the scope of the investigation included in Appendix I of that Federal Register notice, which incorrectly did not reflect changes that Commerce made to the preliminary scope of the investigation.
