As a result of the determinations by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on forged steel fittings (FSF) from the People's Republic of China (China), Italy, and Taiwan and the countervailing duty (CVD) order on FSF from China would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and countervailable subsidies, and material injury to an industry in the United States, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of these AD and CVD orders.

We are also rescinding this review with respect to 21 companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.

On September 13, 2022, the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) issued its final judgment in Bothwell (Taizhou) Steel Fittings, Co., Ltd. v. United States, Consol. Court no. 21-00166, sustaining the U.S. Department of Commerce's (Commerce) remand results pertaining to the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on forged steel fittings (FSF) from the People's Republic of China (China) covering the period March 14, 2018, through December 31, 2018. Commerce is notifying the public that the CIT's final judgment is not in harmony with Commerce's final results of the administrative review, and that Commerce is amending the final results with respect to the countervailable subsidy rate assigned to Both-Well (Taizhou) Steel Fittings, Co., Ltd. (Both-Well).
